We believe that the ability to pay full tuition should not be a limiting factor for a child to attend KapKa.  Tuition is significantly lower than at comparable independent schools because KapKa's costs are offset by parent-filled jobs.

However, some families simply cannot afford the full cost of KapKa tuition, even after careful budgeting. Tuition at KapKa for the 2012-13 school year is $9000.  If after careful planning you determine that your family is unable to afford this monthly amount, you should consider applying for assistance. Kapka's scholarship policy requires full payment of the registration fee and first tuition payment. Scholarship is then available up to a maximum of 50% of tuition for the remaining nine months.

The financial aid process is kept strictly confidential.  Admission decisions are made independent of financial assistance awards. The admission committee does not have access to financial information or assistance applications.   The financial aid committee consists of an alumni representative and the Treasurer. The division of monies will be made on the basis of how many families apply and the needs of each particular family.  While we try to honor the needs of current families on financial aid, one cannot assume that one will receive the same amount of financial aid each year.

If you are an incoming family who wishes to apply for scholarship, please file the online financial aid application form with SSS no later than Friday, February 25, 2013.  (Note that the SSS process is not a simple one, so give yourself plenty of time.)  We will not be able to consider requests for scholarship that are received after this deadline. The Treasurer will inform scholarship recipients of their award when they are notified  of acceptance to KapKa (March 12, 2013.)  Click here for specific directions for the financial aid application process.
