SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS

KapKa is seeking substitute teachers who are flexible team players and understand progressive, alternative education. Our school emphasizes hands-on, experiential learning experiences that integrate art and music into the academic areas. Successful candidates will have prior experience working with children ages 5-8. A commitment to anti-bias, child-sensitive approaches is important.
KapKa is a cooperative school so familiarity in working with parent volunteers is beneficial. WA Teacher Certification and/or relevant degree in early childhood, elementary education or child development are also a plus. KapKa provides a competitive hourly rate.
