Tuition & Financial Aid
One of the lowest independent school tuitions in Seattle
Our tuition
KapKa’s cooperative model helps keep our tuition one of the lowest among independent, non-parochial schools in Seattle. We also offer a sibling discount of a 5% reduction in tuition on any additional enrollments - and as an extra support, co-op membership requirements do not increase, no matter how many children you have enrolled.
Tuition for the 26-27 school year
$22,000
-
When accepting an enrollment offer:
New families pay a $255 registration fee
All families pay a $2,200 deposit, applied towards their tuition
Tuition is all-inclusive and covers student supplies and all school-hour activities and field trips. Aftercare, after-school enrichment programs, and summer camps are at additional cost.
Tuition traditionally increases annually (typically 3-8% accounting for inflation and operational costs).
-
We offer three payment options, each of which begins with your deposit towards tuition:
Choose from:
One payment in June
Two payments: June and December
Eleven monthly payments from June through April
For any student joining during the school year, tuition is prorated.
About financial aid
Your family, like many of our KapKa families, may be eligible for financial aid.
Financial aid application deadline: February 6, 2026
Financial aid applications received after the deadline will be considered as aid funds remain.
We always say, when in doubt, apply. We know tuition can be a stretch for many families. KapKa is proud of the socioeconomic diversity of our school community, and strongly believes in advocating for families who are seeking our cooperative and independent educational model, but don’t have the means to pay full tuition.
To be considered for financial aid, you will submit an application through FACTS, an organization that provides an independent, third-party assessment of a family’s ability to pay tuition costs.
